Promotions create unpredictable demand spikes that lead to both overstock and stockout risks, while traditional point forecasting fails to capture the uncertainty needed for accurate inventory, production, and raw material planning.

Our Solution

To start with, our engineers arranged the scattered data sources in a unified schema. We then moved on to ensembling the best model out of the multiple best models available. This was done to maintain accurate results, which would have been hampered had we used a single model.

In order to test our forecast, we tested it on a simulation interface to understand the effect of the discounts or price leads on the demand of the product. In order to ensure the final results are accurate, we kept testing the past events and matched them with the outcomes.
